Unusual Sighting

December 11th, 2009 · 7 Comments · Latest News & Litters

There are many wonders this time of year brings to one and all. One of those wonderful sights was seen the other day. Everyone knows that Santa uses reindeer to power his sleigh and reindeer are found in very cold climates. That is why I was so excited and surprised to see reindeer roaming around our hay field the other day. Now these reindeer did not look like the typical reindeer. They were some what smaller in size and came in different colors but they did have the usual antlers. I was unaware that reindeer antlers came in different colors and some even had bells on them.

While I was watching this most unusual sight I noticed a definite shall we say “chain of command”. The darkest one appeared to be in charge. All of the other reindeer seem to be very respectful of this one particular creature. And others seem to be having trouble getting use to having antlers, so I believe they may have been younger.

So you just never know what can happen this time of the year!! It is truly a magical time full of joy and love. So embrace this very special season and keep you eyes open wide. You just never know what you might see……

Happy Holidays to everyone from all the reindeer at
Mohr Bouviers!!!!

One reindeer appears to have antlers coming out of its mouth! How peculiar! He must be a very special reindeer!

I believe he may be one of the “young ones” who is just learning how to properly wear his antlers!! And the fawn colored reindeer look does not look like she is enjoying her antlers. In fact she looks a little embarrassed.

Santa could use a bunch of those Mohr bouvideer to steer that sleigh – I am sure Houdini could even manage to turn his nose RED for the occasion!!!

That little girl with the white antlers looks like a model Bouvier reindeer!!! To all the farm family, from all of us, much love and blessings for a holiday filled with connection and joy.

I knew it! Santa is diversifing! This is so funny and wonderful…maybe the cart needs some “sleigh bells” as well.
