In thinking about the names for Belle’s puppies we consulted a professional. Maggie who owns Kodi and is always full of great ideas for puppy names thought it would be cute to name them after Christmas cookies. So with the decision made we set out to come up with seven Christmas cookie names worthy of a Bouvier puppy.

Our four girls are named Kiffle, Sugar Cookie, Gingersnap and Twinky (she is the dark puppy with the white spot on her chest). For our three boys we have Macaroon (Mac to his friends), Chocolate Chip (or Chip to his buddies) and Strudel.

We look forward to showing off these precious cookies once they are old enough for visitors.

We hit another milestone in the lives of Lola’s puppies. Last night they were introduced to their “home” the ex-pen! And as you can see by the video it was met with excitement by a couple and a little concern by the others. But after some sniffing around and Lola coming in to check things out they all decided it was a fun place to be.

We love receiving pics and videos from our puppy owners. Here’s the latest from Nancy and David, owners of Lucy and Kodi.

“We have weathered the worst jealousies and achieved a kind of truce, and it’s getting better every day. Lucy mostly tolerates the puppy as long as she keeps a respectful distance which Kodi has mostly learned to respect. Sometimes, of course, the urge to play with her big sister becomes too great and she has to try and bop Lucy on the nose just for the hell of it.” (Previous videos.)
