Lola and Pasha’s Spring Litter

May 11th, 2012 · 2 Comments · Latest News & Litters

With the finishing touches complete Lola decided to share her latest creations. We have six girls and two boys which come in assorted shades of brindle and, I believe, a couple fawns. Needless to say they are all adorable and smart.

We currently have several families on a list for a puppy. If you are interested or know someone who may be interested, please give us a call at 610-285-4682 or contact us through our website. And make sure you save a date in about six weeks to come over and get your Bouvier puppy fix.

We’ve also set up a photo gallery to celebrate the new babies.

Good afternoon, everyone. Just wanted to let you all know that Miss Belle’s latest litter have all been sold and are happily settled in to their new homes.

We are pleased to report that Lola came home earlier this week from a visit with Pasha, the outstanding male we previously bred her in Spring 2011 and, again, last November 2011. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the breeding was successful and will send out another update when we know for sure. In the meantime, please feel free to contact us via our website should you like to make an inquiry regarding Lola’s breeding.

And We Have Two…

January 31st, 2012 · 2 Comments · Latest News & Litters

We have two beautiful girls still available from Belle’s 2011 litter (photo gallery). Everyone else is spoken for but please don’t rule these two girls out.

First, we have our little girl Twinky. Twinky in a dark brindle with a cute white spot on her chest. If you remember, Twinky was our little girl who insisted on nursing upside down. She likes to do things her way. Can we say BOUVIER?! Twinky is a very sweet girl who loves to snuggle, play and just be downright cute. She does not have much work drive so if you want a great pet and are not looking to do obedience trials, rally or agility, Twinky may be the perfect girl for you.

Second, we have Gingersnap who is anything but small. Gingersnap is a big, bold red fawn female with great confirmation. If you are looking to show or do some sort of performance trails, this is the puppy for you. Gingersnap has a big, blocky head and is the largest puppy in the litter at this point. This girl would be great with a family that has had prior Bouvier experience. Don’t let this girl pass you by if you want a spectacular Bouvier to show.

If you are interested please contact us via our website or call us at 610-285-4682. We love talking about our Bouviers.

We have names…

January 3rd, 2012 · 1 Comment · Latest News & Litters, Media Gallery

In thinking about the names for Belle’s puppies we consulted a professional. Maggie who owns Kodi and is always full of great ideas for puppy names thought it would be cute to name them after Christmas cookies. So with the decision made we set out to come up with seven Christmas cookie names worthy of a Bouvier puppy.

Our four girls are named Kiffle, Sugar Cookie, Gingersnap and Twinky (she is the dark puppy with the white spot on her chest). For our three boys we have Macaroon (Mac to his friends), Chocolate Chip (or Chip to his buddies) and Strudel.

We look forward to showing off these precious cookies once they are old enough for visitors.

Reagan’s New Family

Welcome to the Croft Family

After spending a wonderful couple of months with our sweet Reagan, we have found the Croft family from Emmaus, PA. They called inquiring about Reagan and decided to meet her in person. They spent a couple of hours with this wonderful girl and it was a unanimous decision to ask if Reagan could be a member of their family. The question was asked of us but Reagan had made her decision early on.

When the family arrived we took Reagan up in our hayfield to run around and meet her potential new family. Valentine, Mom to five children, sat down in the hayfield only to have Reagan sit right next to her for some cuddle time and, of course, give kisses. Now I don’t know if Reagan sensed that Valentine is from Belgium but Reagan seemed focused on her. If that was not enough, we were walking back down to the house whenValentine stopped to open her car door and get her purse.  Reagan took that as a sign to jump right in. In all our years of working with Bouviers we have learned to trust our dogs to let us know where they belong. And in my opinion Reagan was telling us, “I want to go home with this family.” So after some tears (on my part) the decision was made to let the Croft family make Reagan a part of their family.

So welcome to Kenn, Valentine, Sarah, Lewis, Matthew, Nicholas and Thomas to the Mohr Bouviers family. Thank you for opening your hearts and home to Reagan and providing her with the loving home she deserves!! We look forward to hearing many heartwarming stories and seeing lots of pictures.
