Prayers for Linda and Karl

March 5th, 2012 · 18 Comments · Latest News & Litters

Update (5/11/12): We are pleased and thrilled to share that several weeks ago, Linda returned home to the farm where she continues to recuperate. She’s in excellent spirits, both physically and mentally. We’d like to thank you all for your prayers and support. We are truly blessed to have friends, neighbors and colleagues as yourselves!

—————————————-

Update (3/16/12): Linda has continued to move forward in her recovery and was transferred to Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital late yesterday afternoon. She will be there for a while where she will have a busy schedule of physical and occupational therapy twice a day at an hour and a half each. Currently, visitors and phone calls are a bit much for her to take in, however, please feel free to send cards to let her know that she continues to be in your thoughts and prayers. The address there is:

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital/Allentown
850 S. 5th Street
Allentown, PA 18103

As always, we will provide you with additional infomation as soon as we receive it.

Thank you, Friends, for your continued heartfelt understanding, thoughts and prayers.

—————————————-

Update (3/9/12): We’re so happy to let you all know that Linda has been taken off the breathing and feeding tubes and is communicating (and even joking a bit) with everyone. She still has a ways to go but is well on the mend. Thank you so much for your continued support! We are very thankful for each and every one of you!

—————————————-

As most of you may know, Linda was admitted to the hospital last week for major surgery. Each of your continued thoughts, prayers and patience in the coming days and weeks would be wonderful!

Please rest assured we are receiving any and all inquiries to our website as well as via email and phone calls. Responding to each and every inquiry is very time consuming. We respectfully request that you check in on our website from time to time where we will be posting the latest information. We would prefer to donate as much of that attention and energy as we can on focusing on Linda’s speedy recovery.

Should you wish to comment and pass along your thoughts and well-wishes, please feel free to reply below.

Thank you so much for your understanding and continued thoughts and prayers.

And We Have Two…

January 31st, 2012 · 2 Comments · Latest News & Litters

We have two beautiful girls still available from Belle’s 2011 litter (photo gallery). Everyone else is spoken for but please don’t rule these two girls out.

First, we have our little girl Twinky. Twinky in a dark brindle with a cute white spot on her chest. If you remember, Twinky was our little girl who insisted on nursing upside down. She likes to do things her way. Can we say BOUVIER?! Twinky is a very sweet girl who loves to snuggle, play and just be downright cute. She does not have much work drive so if you want a great pet and are not looking to do obedience trials, rally or agility, Twinky may be the perfect girl for you.

Second, we have Gingersnap who is anything but small. Gingersnap is a big, bold red fawn female with great confirmation. If you are looking to show or do some sort of performance trails, this is the puppy for you. Gingersnap has a big, blocky head and is the largest puppy in the litter at this point. This girl would be great with a family that has had prior Bouvier experience. Don’t let this girl pass you by if you want a spectacular Bouvier to show.

If you are interested please contact us via our website or call us at 610-285-4682. We love talking about our Bouviers.

Mamie Needs a Home

January 26th, 2012 · 2 Comments · Latest News & Litters

Normally you only see Mohr Bouviers listed on our website but this is a very special girl who needs an active home. Mamie is a 1 year old intact female who is adorable. Her owner got her to be a special partner in her life as a service dog. However Mamie did not get as tall as Janet needs.

Mamie has been obedience trained, crate trained and started on agility. She has also had exposure to herding (see video below). The only thing holding Mamie back from being the perfect addition to Janet’s family as a service dog is her size.

Janet would love to see Mamie go to an active home. Possibly a family that would enjoy continuing Mamie’s agility training or further exposure to herding. From the video Mamie seems to really enjoy herself and be picking it up quickly.

This beautiful, fun loving Bouvier is being offered for sale for $1,800. If you are interested please feel free to email Janet at gjangerhart@aol.com or call her at 215-483-9649. If you know of anyone please forward this information along. Together I am sure we can find this cute girl the perfect family!!!

Thanks in advance for all your help.

We have names…

January 3rd, 2012 · 1 Comment · Latest News & Litters, Media Gallery

In thinking about the names for Belle’s puppies we consulted a professional. Maggie who owns Kodi and is always full of great ideas for puppy names thought it would be cute to name them after Christmas cookies. So with the decision made we set out to come up with seven Christmas cookie names worthy of a Bouvier puppy.

Our four girls are named Kiffle, Sugar Cookie, Gingersnap and Twinky (she is the dark puppy with the white spot on her chest). For our three boys we have Macaroon (Mac to his friends), Chocolate Chip (or Chip to his buddies) and Strudel.

We look forward to showing off these precious cookies once they are old enough for visitors.

Miss Belle’s Grand Finale…

December 18th, 2011 · 7 Comments · Latest News & Litters

Belle decided to end her career as a mom by creating and sharing seven wonderful puppies with the world! The newest additions arrived Monday, December 12th at 4:30am. Belle decided to deliver all seven puppies in less than four hours, keeping Karl very busy drying off, weighing, treating cords and placing colored ribbons around each adorable neck.

We have four girls and three boys in various colors. Some are fawn, some very dark brindle and some lighter brindle. Of course they are all gifted. In fact, we have a very special puppy who insists on nursing upside down with all four paws waving in the air. Everytime I have turned her back over to her tummy, she always flips back over onto her back. Who am I to say she needs to be on her tummy!! She is already showing us her determined Bouvier personality.

If you are interested learning more about our puppies feel free to contact us at 610-285-4682 or contact us via our interest form here on our website.

Check out Belle’s 2011 litter photo gallery.
