Spring is in the air, the flowers are blooming and leaves are opening in anticipation of hot summer days and a need for some shade. Our thoughts turn to cute, wiggly puppies. This spring Belle is taking a break from Motherhood and letting Lola try her paws at Motherhood. The picture to the right is Lola (fawn color) with Belle and Smudge the Cat “cuddling” on top of Karl.

Lola has had a busy spring and should be welcoming her first litter of puppies around May 28th – May 30th. She has been handling the anticipation of Motherhood in stride. She continues to play “catch me if you can” with her brother’s Houdini and Jethro. And she had heard Karl and I discussing a vegetable garden and can’t wait to help herself to fresh tomatoes. Hopefully this year she will share them with the rest of us!

We will share more details as they develop. Pictures will follow when Lola decides to share her sweet, little creations with us later this month. So stay tuned!!!

You go girl Lola!!! We are excited for you and look forward to MOHR family memebers to share class with the rest of us on Saturday mornings. I promise to love each of those little pups and to NOT try to wiggle the color collars off of them!!! Love you LOLA!!!

Oh..can’t WAIT to see those puppies! We’ll be happy to help you with the terribly difficult task of socializing the puppies !!! So there really is a person on that lounge chair, I actually did not even notice (sorry Karl!)

There is also Smudge the cat sitting on my husband’s chest right above Lola!! We are so excited to see Lola’s puppies and can’t wait to share them with everyone. So keep some time free in July to help socialize and snuggle with the puppies. I will breathe a sigh of relief when I know all the puppies are healthy and Lola is fine.

Hooray for Lola! Great job girl. I can remember her when she was just a pup and here she is having her own pups. Can’t wait to hug and kiss those little sweeties. Hopefully they go to homes close by and can join our Bouvier Training Class with Bill. Lots of love from both of us. Barb
